Auction 60
This Auction ended at 17.00 pm on Sunday, 19th January 2025.
AUCTIONEER’s REPORT: An excellent auction: 89 bids received and 53 lots bid on. Lots 73 – 81 were the most popular with some lots receiving 6 bids. Two bidders who bid late will be disappointed. Bidder X bid on 9 lots and won zero. Bidder Y bid on 7 lots and won zero. They would both have won if they had bid earlier as some of their bids were the same amount as that received earlier from other members. Obviously the first bid wins. Total amount of sales was a little over £2,000 which is another £200 for the Society.
SACS members are encouraged to submit material for the Auction. For details on how to do this, see ‘To submit material for the auction’.
