Join the South African Collectors’ Society
If you collect southern African philately and postal history, the South African Collectors’ Society’s is the ‘Home for your Hobby’.
You can become a SACS Member for as little as £10 per year. (Approx. US $13).
Membership includes:
- Four Quarterly issues of the Society’s award-winning magazine, The Springbok,
(£10 emailed PDF; £18 – £25 posted hard copy. Postage varies per destination). - Access to the last three years of The Springbok magazine (PDF file only).
- Access to SACS Study Booklets 1 – 40, from £10 each, (excl. p&p.).
- Access to a specialist southern African Philatelic Library (UK only).
- Attend Zoom meetings in the comfort of your home.
- Attend three UK meetings / conferences per year (Letchworth and Kenilworth).
Letchworth is a bi-annual Saturday event, Kenilworth a two-day weekend meeting. - Host your displays on this website, present them at meetings.
- Participate in a regular Auction (with the option to be both a vendor and a bidder).
- Participate in SACS Philatelic Competitions for the Abell Trophy.
- Enjoy your hobby in the company of like-minded fellow collectors.
Note:
An annual subscription for SACS membership runs from January to December. A subscription must be renewed by the end of February or membership is cancelled.
The cost of annual membership of SACS is determined by which Springbok Magazine option you choose. You can receive it as either a hard printed copy posted to you in the mail – many still prefer this option – or as an emailed electronic PDF file which you can read online and or print out and file.
Annual Subscription choices are:
- PDF Magazine: £10 (Worldwide)
- Printed Magazine including UK Inland postage: £18
- Printed Magazine including European postage: £22
- Printed Magazine including Overseas postage (outside of the UK and Europe): £25
